emmaus walk bulletin: 3 Feb

Dear all Walkers,

Why was the bicycle unable to move? (Stay tuned for the answer...)

Thanksgiving Mass (Sun 5 Feb, 5:30pm)
This Sunday at 5:30pm Mass, we will be offering up thanksgiving intentions for our Emmaus Walk community. We thank God for His blessings throughout the last three years, for all the ups and downs, EYRs, and the graces He has given us, both personally and as a community. We also lift up the coming year to our heavenly Father and ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to guide us in our journey as we continue our personal "Walk to Emmaus" and strive to listen attentively to Scriptures and to feel that 'burning' in our hearts as we feel the Word of God being very much alive in our lives. Do join us to attend the Mass, and pray for your own spiritual journeys this year too! After that,

CG this week (and for the next 2 weeks as well)
CG begins at 7:30pm in the Prayer Room (A1-3), do join us for a time of reflection on Scripture, adoration of the Eucharist and sharing. Take some time off to recharge before Monday comes around and work threatens to overwhelm us again!

1. Sam and Jo's Excellent Adventures
Brothers Samuel Lim and Joseph Zhang will be ordained as deacons next Saturday, 11 Feb, 2:30pm, Church of St Bernadette. You may have met them at one point or another when they were in Nativity for their respective attachments. They have been God's instruments in journeying with our youths and young adults, and we wish them all God's blessings as they make the next step towards priesthood. Please RSVP to Brother Sam <samxlim@gmail.com> if you would like to attend the Mass.

2. School of Witness - other excellent adventures
Continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who are at SOW! Johnathan Ng, Stefanie Conceicao, Sebby, Celia Choong,Leslie Braberry, Manuel Lee and Abigail Leck. May God bless them and help them to GROW where they are SOWn!

OK that's all from me, hope to see you on Sunday!
