Salvation History Part Two: Election by Fr Kenson Koh
"Election" means to choose, and in the history of Salvation, Man has always been chosen by God for various purposes. Man's response to these choices is significant: Adam & Eve - Rejection; Noah - Obedience; Abraham - Obedience; Moses - Obedience (mostly); Israel's Monarchs (Saul, David, Solomon) - Obedience at first, rejection later; The Prophets (Jeremiah, Amos, Hosea) - (generally) Obedience; Mary & Joseph - Mary's Fiat(belief), Joseph's action.

What about ourselves? Christ needs the Kingdom to be proclaimed. Each of us has been chosen to be Christian. What does this mean to us? What is our response going to be?
