Dear all Walkers,
What's big, green, and sits in a corner? (Answer at the end of the email...)
We just sent off our brother Aloysius on his year-long quest for a double degree on Sunday night. We pray for his well-being and that God may guide him to further develop his gifts and talents, and that he may grow in maturity in the Lord.
This Sunday in CG
We resume our theme of "Finding your Treasure", and this Sunday we reflect on how to enter through the narrow gate. Join us for sharing and community time! If you wish to read the reading before hand, it's Luke 13:22-30
Announcements
1) Bread Run (Wednesdays, 9pm)
Bread Run still continues and you should be receiving emails from Dwayne or Trudy or Dominic regarding meeting time and venue. Do join in!
2) Parish Feast Day stall
Contact Kenneth or Elaine if you want to help out with the planning and other organisational requirements. We also need a catchy name for the cafe, so if you have any ideas, let them know too!
3) Day of Prayer for Vocations (Sep 11, St Francis Xavier Church, 4:00pm)
Come and join in prayers for vocations. Mass follows at 5:30pm so you could cover Sunday obligation as well.
Social Gathering is also on this week! We're meeting up somewhere in Hougang to play boardgames! To join in, let Sebby know!
And that is all from me, see you soon!
In His Love,
