Dear all Walkers!

Q: What's the difference between falling off the 2nd storey of a building and falling off the 20th storey of the same building?

A: In the former, one goes "splat" and then "aargh!" immediately after. In the latter, one goes "aargh!" followed by "splat".

Last Sunday in CG
Adeline and Kenneth led us through a wonderful session to explore our own spiritualities. We reflected on the different forms of prayer that help us get closer to God.

This Sunday ***Important***
Instead of our usual EW session, the following will take place:

Pentecost Rally with Mass@ Christ the King Church, 2-6:30 pm.

As our brothers and sisters who are involved in the ongoing YISS will be attending these, we as EW community may also attend in support and as a change from our usual CG setting. Organised by SACCRE (Singapore Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal), the theme is "Go - Jn 20:21". Excellent speakers from overseas have been flown in just to deliver the talks, so don't waste this opportunity to hear them in action!

Since our current theme is on prayer, why not come join us and explore one kind of prayer and spirituality?

Dinner and fellowship after the rally and Mass too!

If you would like to offer your car for carpool, or if you are looking for carpool arrangements, please let Barry know also!

1) Preparatory talk on Adoration of Blessed Sacrament (30 May, 2:30-5pm) - Fr Henry Siew
Come for this session to prepare yourselves for the 40-hour devotion from 4-6 June!

2) EW Retreat (11-13 June)
Come for our first ever retreat for the EW community! Whether you are tired, looking for meaning or just need to step back from the hectic life that young adults get caught up in, this retreat will benefit you in some way. So join us as we move into retreat, in order to advance! Venue and cost TBC.

3) Parish Mission
The parish is still looking for people to be facilitators, drivers and to fill other roles. If you can help, please sign up with the parish office and offer your services!

Social Gathering: if you would like to meet up today (Thursday) and chill out because you can't tahan the weekend being so far away still, contact Sebby, and he will arrange for some chill session.
