emmaus walk bulletin: 17 march

Dear all Walkers!

It's yet another Wednesday, and we celebrate St Patrick's Day! According to legends, St Patrick drove snakes out of Ireland. This is how we know that he wasn't Chinese. If he had been Chinese, he would have cooked the snakes in soup and eaten them...

Last Sunday in CG
We reflected on the beautiful parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:1-3, 11-32). Are we like the younger son, who squandered his fortune and lost himself, but later came to his sense and returned home to experience the love of his father? Are we like the elder son, who couldn't bring himself to be happy for the return of his brother, but felt resentment at what he perceived himself to be losing out on? Do we sometimes act in obedience to God but inwardly feel like a slave, experiencing no real freedom and joy?

This Sunday in CG
This week's topic is on Suffering! Do join us!
