Dear all Walkers,
Hope you have had a terrific Thursday! Apologies for the late bulletin, it's been a long week for me and i hope not the same for many of you...
Last Sunday in CG
We reflected on Jn 8:1-11, and the idea of suffering. Suffering purifies sinners, and the way to experience God's power that transfigures us is through sharing Christ's sufferings (Phil 3:10).
This Sunday in CG
Our very own Fr Henry will be giving this week's session, on the Passion of Christ! Do come and join us as we reflect and prepare for Holy Week!
In other news
1) Theology of the Body (TOB) study group
Moses will be starting a study group for TOB after Easter, Friday nights for 12 sessions. If you are interested, contact him to join. Subsequently, we would like to conduct training for trainers to do TOB programmes for youths and young adults, so if you have inclinations for either of these, you should join in the study sessions!
2) Parish Misson
The parish needs officers to help in various roles, among them census offices and group facilitators. If you are able to help, contact Moses for more information!
3) Maundy Thursday Pilgrimage....
... will happen! Unfortunately at this stage i don't have concrete details for you, but rest assured we will send out details next week! What i can say at this point is that it will take most of the night, and it will be a reflective walk!
Many thanks to those of you who helped in Bread Run over the last few weeks, you've made a difference in some small way to those people who you came into contact with. As we head towards the last week of Lent, let's continue praying for one another to persevere with our Lent goals!
And with all these, i'll see you at this Sunday's CG!
In His Love,
barry
