Dear all Walkers,
Only a few more days to go to the end of the week and end of the month! i hope that February has been a fruitful month for you, what with all the festivities and lots of games of chances. As we enter the season of Lent, may the rest of the month continue to be fruitful, especially in your efforts for Lent!
Last Sunday in CG
We marked the 1st Sunday in Lent and reflected on Mk 1:14-15, together with Lk 4:1-13 (Sunday's reading). After fasting and overcoming trials and temptations in the desert, Jesus calls for repentance. Not tomorrow, not next year, not when one has retired, but NOW. True conversion and repentance comprises (a) a change in deeds and (b) a change in heart. One without the other will not be sustained for long.
This Sunday
We reflect on the three pillars of Lent: fasting, almsgiving and prayer. Do join us!
