emmaus walk bulletin: 28 Apr

Dear Walkers,

Christ is risen!

This Sunday, we have the Beloved! Eucharistic adoration session at 7pm @ Prayer Room (A1-3) by Ben Tan and his merry men! Do join in this hour-and-half or so of just spending some time in front of the Eucharist!

Announcements

1) Nativity Fun Walk (1 May, 0800hrs)
Join in the parish fun walk to Punggol Promenade and back, on (appropriately) the feastday of St Joseph the Worker (aka Mayday, aka Labour Day)! If you haven't bought the tickets, you still can join in! Just no ice cream and no lunch for you :p. A little morning exercise is good for you!
2) "Christians Developing the World Together" - 11, 18, 25 May, 1 June (Fridays)
A series of talks by Fr David Garcia, O.P, for young adults (~18-40) on social issues and Catholic Social Teaching. Come and learn more about how you can help "heal the world, make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race". For more information and registration details, see the attached file.

3) Archdiocesan Vocation Retreat - (7:30pm, Fri 4 May - 5:00pm, Sun 6 May)
This is the main Archdiocesan vocation discernment event for the year. Register early to avoid disappointment. You may either register through Fr Henry Siew, our parish priest, or email the seminarians through the form attached.

4) What you need to know about the Bible (by Fr. Henry Siew)
Are there errors in the Bible?
Can we believe in things not taught by the Bible?
What did Jesus say about the Bible?
What does the Bible teach us about God, man, money, work, relationships and politics?
What is the best way to read the Bible?

If you would like to find out answers to the above and more, register for these sessions at the Parish Office!
Dates: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 May (Thursdays, 8:00pm)
Venue: St. John’s Auditorium

OK that is all from me, have a blessed weekend!
