Hey all Walkers!
It's midweek! And what better way to mark this momentous day than with some inspiring quotes...
"Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana."
OK on to the serious stuff...
Last Sunday in CG
Our reflection was on Mark 11:20-24, in which Jesus speaks about the power of having faith. The Old testament contains many examples of people who had heroic faith in God: Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Moses, Samson, Daniel, Gideon. Faith is "being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see" (Hebrews 11:1). This faith in God that we have should manifest itself in our actions. Our words and deeds reflect our faith in God (James 2:17-18). Real faith causes us to trust God's promises, believe in his power and obey His commands.
