Hey all Walkers!!!
It's midweek once again! And what better way to begin our countdown to the weekend (and yet another exciting EW session) with a punny line...
"I was wondering why the baseball was getting bigger, and then it hit me."
Last Sunday in CG
We reflected on the concept of wholeheartedness with Jn 12:1-8, on Mary annointing Jesus' feet with expensive perfume and drying it with her hair. Do we love God wholeheartedly? Do we give our best to Him, or do we give our leftovers (or part of our leftovers)? Wholehearted worship is beautiful, sacrificial and loving, and will be talked about and spread to others for ages to come.
Thomas is an extremely important figure in Sunday's Gospel. He represents the slowness of heart and mind, the recurrent skeptic in all of us, and yet when Christ shows himself to him, Thomas believes and wholeheartedly proclaims "My Lord and My God!" We, who may be similarly slow to believe in the power of God working in our lives, may look to Thomas for inspiration, and pray that we will also wholeheartedly proclaim "My Lord and my God" when God does show Himself to us in our lives.

Do join us as we continue our Easter journey with the Deb and Seb show!
