Dear walkers,

Here are this week's thanksgiving and prayer petitions:

Thanksgiving:
  • Thank you for getting me through term 3 in one piece.
  • Thank you Lord for the week. Thank you for the good and bad that has happened. Journey with us and guide us in the path you have chosen for us. Help us realise our passion and vocation. Amen.
  • Thank you God for keeping my grandmother safe. I pray that You will continue to bless her with good health.
  • Thank you God for Your continued blessings for my friends and family.
  • Dear Lord, a thanksgiving prayer for you: I really really appreciate your presence when I am alone out in Abu Phabi (?) last week. Being the only woman in the project team, I am blessed that you are always there for me, ensuring my ride in a cab alone was a safe one; ensuring my meeting sessions with the clients were a fruitful one. Once again, thank you Father. - Your loving daughter
  • Thank you God for sending Fr. Kenson to minister to our parish youths, and for the good work he has done by simply being available. :)
Prayer petitions:
  • I pray for God's graces to help me through this period of transition, for students taking exams, for those of us struggling with getting over relationships.
  • I pray that there will be more people helping out and serving in Faith Formation for Sec 3s, Post Confirmation Program and Youth Pastoral Ministry for Adults Program.
  • I pray for quality faith journey for NYC & EYR committee and a fruitful and successful event.
  • I pray that Mark will get through his exams smoothly and that the upcoming EYR & NYC will go on smoothly [Luke]
  • May the Lord enable me to love others as He has loved me; to be more patient and kind in my relationship with others.
  • I pray that God will continue to guide me in whatever I do & whatever decisions I make.
  • God, I pray for those discerning their vocation in life, that you may bring clarity & direction to them, to choose the path You want for them.
  • I pray for the Church's Feast Day, that our stall will sell everything, have enough manpower, and in general, be a SUCCESS!!
  • I also pray for better time management, discipline and the ability to see things in a better light.
  • I pray for my clients, and people I've met through my work, that God will touch them and be with them in their daily struggles. [Elaine]
  • I pray for the upcoming committee for NYC '10, that we have the will to carry on this journey that is about to begin, and may God be our medium in every meeting.
  • I pray for the smooth running of the stall for feast day.
  • I pray for God to keep me pure in thought, word & deed.
  • I pray that everyone who seeks Love finds it in someone they already know.
  • I pray for those who were unable to make it today for one reason or another, that God will continue to watch over them and keep them safe in the coming week.
Just a note that we're into the 3rd day of Nativity's Feast Day Novena. Here's the schedule for those interested to attend.

As you can see, the theme is based on 1 Cor 13: 4-13 - the theme of LOVE (such a beautiful theme!), so lets make the effort to attend the novenas if possible! I will be attending as many as I can and will post up notes on them if they are good for sharing, so those who are going - feel free to share with the rest of us too!

Don't forget your daily prayers, and may everyone have a blessed and restful (for the teachers) week ahead! *hugs*
