Dear all Walkers,
One Sunday morning, a priest wakes up and decides to go golfing. He calls his boss and says that he feels very sick, and won't be able to go to work.
Way up in heaven, Saint Peter sees all this and asks God, "Are you really going to let him get away with this?"
"No, I guess not," says God.
The priest drives about five to six hours away, so he doesn't bump into anyone he knows.
The golf course is empty when he gets there.
So he takes his first swing, drives the ball 495 yards away and gets a hole in one.
Saint Peter watches in disbelief and asks, "Why did you let him do that?"
To this God says, "Who's he going to tell?"
Last Sunday in CG
We reflected on Jesus' call to love our enemies (Mt 5:38-48). Who are my enemies? How do i respond to them? How can i love my enemies? This requires a change of heart, first in ourselves, before in others.
This Sunday in CG
Join us to continue on the reflection of the greatness of God'd love! Are you bigger than a sparrow?
Announcements
1) JUMBLE SALE: helpers needed
Our friends Gabriel and Eddy have collected sufficient old stuff that can be sold to raise funds for the Tana River Life Foundation. They will be holding a jumble sale this weekend at all Masses in order to do so. They do need help setting up, and we can help from 4pm onwards, Saturday 26 Feb to set up the area for the sales. Do give Gabriel or Eddy (h/p: 92320002) or Ben Tan a call if you are going!
OK that's all from me, have a blessed week ahead and look forward to the weekend!
In His Love,
barry
