emmaus walk bulletin: 7 May

Dear Walkers,

Well the GE 2011 is over, and history has been made... Never before has the Returning Officer been so popular! He is indeed the face of GE 2011... Will this spark off a mad rush for Brycleem? Don't stay tuned to find out...

What you should find out, instead is this:

Last Sunday
We enjoyed the movie titled "Jesus" (available in Moses' office) and saw Satan in an Armani suit. Sharp dresser, that Mr S.A. Tan...

This Sunday
The Gospel reading is about the Road to Emmaus. What is our own road to Emmaus? Are our hearts burning? Do we recognise Jesus? Come and listen to Michael (YEW head), Dominic (Breadrun champion) and Elaine (our very own EW vice-head) as they share their experiences of encountering Christ on their own walk along the road to Emmaus! Do bring some pens too as we will be reflecting on our experiences being in this EW community and write warm fuzzies for people you like!

In Other News,
1) Upcoming Series - His-tory, Her-story: Salvation History (15 May - 12 June)

We have a very powder-ful series of 5 sessions on this starting next Sunday, with 30-minute inputs from Fr Kenson each week. Do come, listen and be nourished!

2) Emmaus Walk Retreat (17 - 19 June)
Is life getting you down? Are you too busy for God? Do you need to go to a quiet place to listen to God's voice? Come for the EW retreat and be refreshed spiritually!
Venue: Choice Retreat House (bus transport from Nativity provided)
Date: Friday 17 June, 8pm - Sunday 19 June, late
Cost: $70
Look out for the sign-up/pay-up booth we'll be having on 29 May, and do register with us! Places are limited, so hurry!

Ok that's all from me, have a blessed Sunday and see you at EW!

In His Love
