Dear all Walkers,
i bring great news about our community and happening stuff that are to follow! But first, let's recap what took place last Sunday:
Last Sunday in CG
We reflected on Jesus as the Lamb of God. In Jewish tradition, the Lamb of God is the one chosen to be the sacrifice on behalf of the people of Israel. Its blood (a) saves the people (recall the night of the Passover, when blood of a perfect lamb was smeared on Israelites' house doors, so the Angel of Death may pass over those houses and not kill the male firstborn inside); (b) purifies and washes the sins of the people away. Jesus, as the Lamb of God, shed His blood to wash away our sins and save us.
John the Baptist was able to recognise Jesus as the Lamb of God, because he was always in tune with God. Are we able to recognise Jesus in our lives? Do we readily point Him out to others?

We have identified 2 families that need help with cleaning their house, and many of you have replied generously to help with this project. This is a whole day project and we expect to end around 5pm, but if you can do only half a day, you are still welcome. If any of you who have not replied 'yes' and wish to do so, please let Barry know soon.

OK that's all from me, see you on Sunday!
