Last Sunday in CG
In the final installment of the Deb and Seb show, we reflected on Perseverance. Perseverance in prayer and in faith ties in neatly with our topics in the past 3 weeks - Wholeheartedness, Faith, Attempting the Impossible. Our passage for reflection was Luke 18:1-8, where the widow, through her perisstence, got the unjust judge to help her.

God may refuse our requests or delay His answer, but all for good reason, and He wants us to persist in prayer. Our faith only grows in times of trials, not in smooth times.

This Week in CG
The topic is so secretive that even i do not know about it, but i assure you that if you come, you will grow from it! So do join us for CG, same time, same place!

1) ***EW Retreat*** (7pm, 11 June - 7pm, 13 June)
Ever wondered why we come back week after week for CG? Thinking about how else you can grow in your own spiritual journey? Reached a spiritual plateau and don't know how to progress further?

Come for EW's very first retreat for the EW community! Because we all need to go away to a quiet place listen to God's voice. This retreat will be conducted by Bro Alphonsus, a seminarian who is attached to Nativity for June, and whose inspired prayers led to the mooting of this retreat plan.

Venue and cost are yet to be confirmed, but the dates are definitely on! So mark your calendars, push away other appointments and come spend a weekend with the rest of this community!

2) Mothers' Day flower sales preparation (Sat 8 May, 8am onwards) and sale (before and after Sunday evening Mass)
We start work this Saturday at 8am! Remember that all proceeds go to YC and funding for End year Retreat! Let's go and make a difference!

3) Youth in the Spirit Seminar (16, 23, 30 May, 5-6 June, 20 June)
Come and experience Jeremiah 17 at this year's YISS, organised by SACCRE youth. All are welcome!
