prayer intentions #7

Dear Emmaus Walkers,

Thank you for the wonderful turn out today :) Feels great to see old familiar faces like Ben & Sue, and relatively new faces like Deborah :) Anyway here are this week's petitions:

We pray:
  • For our church, that we may come to see God in everything that we do.
  • For the success of the upcoming Serangoon District Youth Rally (SDYDR)
  • For students: grant them wisdom and a peace of mind as they undertake their coming exams
  • For the young, elderly, disabled: that the community will show them love
  • For God's grace & strength in my final year of studies
  • For peace and good health in the family
  • That you will bless our lectors and help them be aware of your closeness; comfort and console them in their hour of need, and guide them home to you.
  • For Januarius to make a godly and wise decision in areas of finance; and that he will find the peace within himself. Amen.
  • For all the families that I have met, that they will have the strength to continue to love their children with special needs
  • For the EYR, that it will be guided and blessed by God.
  • For my studies, that God will grant me resilience, perserverance and a positive mind.
  • For my family - bless us with love.
  • That God will continually give us the strength we need to fulfil his will
  • That the Lord will send the Holy Spirit to guide the inquiries through RCIA journey. May they stay committed and be blessed with His blessings in the upcoming Rite of Acceptance. Amen
  • For all the members of EW!! Lord, guide us so that we will not stray from you. Help us grow spiritually as we journey together and may we be Christ-like wherever, whenever. In you Lord we place our hope and trust.
  • For my mum's health, that she be able to recover fast and get the strength to come back to church to attend masses.
  • For the community of the Church, that parishioners will show more acts of love, mercy and forgiveness towards one another.
  • For healing for the brokennness of self and Church.
  • That youths wil be loved and taught well about Christ's defenceless and unconditional love, mercy and gentleness, forgiving and humble nature.
  • For the parish Malacca retreat, EYR, SDYDR and Feast Day, that people will gather and share love and build relationships.
  • For my students to focus on work and remember their God.
  • For my sister who is unsure of where her future may lead her. Guide her in her decisions, dear Lord.
  • For peace of mind for the people around during these times; may opportunities grant them the chance to have it.
  • For the victims of the Taiwan disaster.
  • For the safety of my friends and family.
  • That God continue to bless my relationship and allow it to grow stronger with each passing day.
  • For studies, that I will have inspiration from God to write and film my school work.
  • For my dad, that he will recover from his illness soon.
  • For my best friend, that God may touch her and she may know she is not alone.
  • For all my relationships with those I love and treasure, that I will love and treasure them the way I should.
We ask all these in Jesus' most holy and precious name, Amen.

Let us keep fervent in our prayers, stay faithful to His teachings and continue to proclaim His love.

*hugs*
