Dear walkers,

Apologies for posting this late. This week we have plenty of prayer intentions and thanksgiving!

Here are this week's CG thanksgiving and prayer intentions:

• Lord, thank you for being there throughout the year and for guiding my family and me in the way of Love.
  
• I pray for my colleague who is under-going surgery for her brain tumour. May she be safe!
• Offer up EYR: to reach out to more people; to grow closer to God; to refresh everyone for the new year.
• Pray for EYR committee! And also EYR participants!
• I pray for those who feel lonely and do not feel loved, that God will touch them deeply.
• Lord, I pray for the EYR committee. Guide them in spirit and faith. I pray for EW, strengthen us in faith and friendship!
• I pray for my client, Peter Hwang, that God will bless him and his family.
• Pray for those in the midst of exams, that You will grant them a calm mind and heart and perserverance as they pull through this difficult period.
  

Here are the prayer intentions by the EYR committee:

(i) Individual:

• Pray to be enlightened in the handling & delivery of the camp sessions
• Pray for better time management and to cast burdens of school aside
• For more strength and endurance
• That my faith will be firm and immovable as a rock, so that I can rest steadfast and tranquil amidst the crosses, toils and disappointments of life.
• To remain faithful, always to be ready to respond to His calling, and to totally surrender to Him.
• I pray that I'll be able to look at life through fresh eyes, so that I'll be able to empathize with those around me, allowing me to say exactly what the Lord wants them to hear.
• Dear Lord, I pray that I will be able to get through this exam in one piece and that I can be free from distractions that make me deviate from my current focus
• That I will continue to put God first in my decisions in all I do.
• I pray that I will have faith that God will lead and show me the way in my life
• To have peace in my heart
• That I will be centered in the Lord and continue to be faithful in prayer
• That I may grow spiritually everyday; For the church and the group, that I may contribute my talents and gifts.
  

(ii) EYR

• Faith, that God will bless all our angelic youths and leaders rightly
  
• That the retreat will touch hearts, transform lives and be a great testament of God's great love.
• Faith that God will bless all rightly
• I pray that the retreat will plant seeds in the hearts of the youths.
• That the retreat will energise the organising committee, especially for those who have not been able to keep up in prayer.
• I pray that You bless the retreat with good weather, safe environment and a joyful atmosphere
• I pray that despite this feeling of unpreparedness, the Lord will once again work through us to tell the participants exactly what they need to hear
• Open the hearts of the committee and participants, that they are ready for God's revelation; being touched and transformed by God's LOVE
• That if we neglect any preparation for the retreat, we will be able to trust in God's Providence at Majodi Retreat Centre
• To be able to reach out to the participants
• That participants & organizers alike can experience a renewal of God in their lives
• That we will be successful in bringing people back to or closer to God.
  

(iii) Youths of Nativity

• That they may grow to be more faithful in their calling to carry out God's work
• That they may see God in their lives through their family and friends
• Pray that they will see purpose in their things/duties that they carry out each day
• That Every Youth Return to our Parish and glorify God TOGETHER!
• That the youths enjoy every moment to be a Child of God
• Nay they grow to be wonderful role models for their own juniors, and may they love one another as You have loved us
• I pray that the youths of the parish will experience a revival only You can provide and also bless the church with people who are willing to step up as leaders for the new generation...
• That the youths be charged with a desire to find out more about their faith and own their faith
• I pray that the youths of Nativity will grow in spirituality and form bonds strong enough to set up a branch of Emmaus Walk in future
• For the youths of Nativity to overcome the giants in their lives
• That the youths of Nativity will come to love God with a deep faith and embrace the identity as Christians and bearers of truth

We lift up all these prayer intentions with humility, faith and hope, that God will hear us and answer in His time and in His way.
